Irish breakfast tea is tea with some teeth to it, and is known as one of the best herbal teas for caffeine content. Irish breakfast tea is not quite as strong as coffee, but it is has more caffeine than any other type of tea. Irish breakfast tea is very strong so it is usually prepared with milk, especially in Ireland where dairy products are favored. It can also be prepared without milk and/or may be alternatively be served with sugar. Though called a “breakfast tea” Irish breakfast tea is served all day and is a popular beverage in more countries than just Ireland.
